30-Day Challenge Day 8: Song(s) That Make You Cry

So I haven’t done one of these for a while. Sorry about that.

Crying. There are many reasons why we cry, but crying usually pertains to something sad or upsetting. I don’t cry to songs and their music videos. I rarely cry in movies, but I do cry in anime and Asian dramas. Those story lines and the emotions of the characters always get to me.

Another moment when I cry is whenever I have to say goodbye to friends when going back home from traveling to a different country. Why do I cry at those moments? It’s because there is a possibility that I won’t get to see them in person anymore. I mean, traveling out of the country cost a lot of money, and although we are able to keep in touch through social media and the internet, it isn’t the same. When it comes to these types of goodbyes, I can’t help, but be teary-eyed.

Anyways, here is a list of tear-jerking songs.

“My Immortal” By Evanescence

A beautiful piano song, and Amy Lee has an amazing voice.

“Only Hope” By Mandy Moore

Okay, I cried the first time while watching the movie, A Walk To Remember. After that, I didn’t.

“Nee (ねえ)” By Fujita Maiko

I think this is a beautiful song to listen to. It is from the anime, Hiiro no Kakera.

“Killing Me Softly” By The Fugees

This is a great song because the lyrics clearly describe how music could depict a listener’s pain and sorrow.

“One Sweet Day” By Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men

This song is a reminder that we should enjoy every moment of living with our loved ones because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

Hope you enjoyed this set of music. Have a good weekend!
