GUNNAR Optiks is a fashion eyewear company that specializes in safety glasses when using the computer. This past summer GUNNAR collaborated with the popular culture brand tokidoki to make computer glasses.

The founder of tokidoki, Simone Legno, designed the glasses. Each pair includes a tokidoki-themed hard case, a microfiber pouch, and a microfiber cloth. If you enjoy cute mascots and anime and constantly work in front of the computer, these are the glasses for you!

tokidoki SANDy

tokidoki SANDy are these cute signature Cat-Eye glasses inspired by SANDy and her Cactus Friends. The frame is made of premium handmade acetate. The frame also includes hues of green cactus, brown, and black to showcase the color scheme of SANDy. In addition, the options for the lens can be tinted amber or clear. These glasses are $125.

You would have to coordinate your fashion outfit for these glasses. These glasses are a bit bold for my taste, but if you want a pair that showcases your charismatic and joyful personality, these glasses are for you.

tokidoki Donutella

tokidoki Donutella premium handmade acetate and metal frame is inspired by Donutella. The glasses consist of round-shaped retro frames in a pink frosted color representing a pink-frosted donut. In fact, the light-colored pink hue is named “Pink Sprinkles.” When it comes to comfort, the glasses have flexible spring hinges and adjustable nose pads. It cost $125.

Personally, these are my favorite out of all three glasses because of the pink frosted color frames. My favorite color is pink and so I am a little biased on that. However, when it comes to comfort, these are the ones I enjoyed wearing the most and have been using them frequently when writing blog posts.

tokidoki Cotten Candy Carnival

tokidoki Cotten Candy Carnival has lavender-colored round frames. The frames were made from a precision-engineered polymer material. These glasses are suited for a wide range of facial structures. They also have adjustable titanium pads. These glasses are at an affordable price of $89.

Like tokidoki Donutella, these glasses aren’t too bold and you can wear them on an everyday basis. These glasses are cute, but they were a bit too big for my smaller frame head.

All glasses include flexible spring hinges and have a 12 to 24-month warranty. Each style also has health-benefiting features like hypoallergenic titanium nose pads and patented lens technology, which are designed to block blue and UV light. There is also a 0.2 diopter of focusing power, and a wrap-around frame design all to help prevent the harmful effects of Computer Vision Syndrome.

Overall, these cute glasses are great to have especially if you work in front of a computer every day like me. GUNNAR x tokidoki also released another collection for fall featuring more anime-inspired glasses.
