LynLynSays’ Love Songs: Delicate – Taylor Swift

For the past two years, I have done this Valentine’s Day music tradition on my blog. I was actually debating on whether or not I should do it this year because my mood isn’t “in love” nor is it in heartbreak.

Right now, I am in a strange equilibrium when it comes to romance and love. I’m not happy, but I’m not sad.

Thus, I hope the songs I selected for these next two weeks convey this mood I am in. And if you can relate to it, that’s great!

I’m going to start off with Taylor Swift’s “Delicate” which is from her reputation album. I’m starting off with this song because it’s a song that implies the early stages of a “connection.”  You aren’t sure what “it” is but you know that you have to tread carefully—what you two share is fragile and should be handled with care.

Taylor Swift’s “Delicate”

Is it cool that I said all that?
Is it chill that you’re in my head?
‘Cause I know that it’s delicate (delicate)
Is it cool that I said all that
Is it too soon to do this yet?
‘Cause I know that it’s delicate

-Taylor Swift’s “Delicate”
