Lyn’s Adventures: A Tea Party For The Queen

Okay, the title of this blog post is an over exaggeration.

Last weekend, I was pretty busy since I made a lot of plans with my friends and family. One of these plans is going to a tea party.

My sister, friends, and I love going to tea rooms ever since we went to one for the first time last year. This time, we didn’t go to the one we originally went to but instead we went to one called Satori Tea Company in Saratoga, CA. We had a tea party to celebrate my friend’s new job. 🙂

Satori Tea Company is a cute little place. The aesthetics of the tea place was very colorful and funky.  The chairs, tablecloths, and tea sets were colorful and bold. They didn’t match, but they still complement each other.  It was kind of like the Mad Hatter’s tea party in Alice in Wonderland.

If you never had a tea party before, I highly recommend you do so. It’s definitely a thing to do with your best girlfriends. It may be pricey in which tea packages (tea & snacks) range from $25 to $40 per person, but it’s definitely worth it. For my snack set, I ordered the Tipping Tea Pot trio: I had a scone, broccoli and cheddar soup, and four smoked salmon, crème cheese, capers tea sandwiches. At Satori Tea Company, I think the best item on their menu was the scones though—they were delicious.

  1. Hmm, just looking at this alone is making me hungry 😂 But I also think that the atmosphere for such a party is a lot of fun. Never been to one before, but after reading this, I just might have to see if I can find out there is one near here somewhere 😊
