30 Day Asian Drama Challenge Day 25: Drama With The Worst Ending In Your Opinion?

This is a tough one since I watched a lot of unsatisfying Asian drama endings that I can’t pick one. It is also the fact that if it was horrible, I don’t want to remember it.

The Dream High series is about a group of Kirin High School of Art students who dream of becoming Kpop stars.

Yet if I have to recall a horrible ending for this post, I’m going to have to say the Dream High series. Yes, I love JYP Entertainment because they created 2pm, but for this particular drama, I was a bit disappointed at the fact that the main couples in both series didn’t actually end up together. We went through several episodes of heartache, suffering, and drama only to learn that the main couple of each series don’t get a happy ending in regards to romance. Well, it kind of “made sense” since these characters are only in high school and should focus on pursuing their dreams and career aspirations, but still, I shouldn’t sit through several episodes of an emotional rollercoaster with no solid satisfaction in the end.

If there was any justice in this series, it’s the music since it’s a musical drama.
