Announcements: 2016 Goals
So I know I am capable of maintaining a blog for a year. This year I should take it up a notch. I don’t really make any resolutions for the upcoming year, but it doesn’t hurt to try. Besides goal-setting and accomplishing your goals builds character.
So here’s my blogging goal for 2016:
- Reach 1000 followers via WordPress and social media.
Right now I am almost at 500 followers. I think 1,000 is possible to achieve. If I am able to captivate 1000 people with my words, I would be satisfied for this year. Plus, this will motivate me to write more and create good content for my current readers.
Personal Goals (Goals not related to this blog, but for personal growth):
- Put a little more effort.
Now my wardrobe is decent, and I tend to put effort into what I wear when needed to. However, the majority of the time, I just put on a sweater and some jeans because I just want to be comfortable and I’m not trying to impress anyone. Yet in order to be more adult-like and feminine, I decided to start wearing lipstick. (Well I got into this phase after my sister gave me her lipstick.) I also been researching on different stuff I should try for my skin tone and how to apply it. Right now, I am trying to learn how to put eyeliner on, and it is hell. I will get it eventually, though.
I never wore make-up because I don’t think I need to. Like I said before, I’m not trying to impress anyone, and at the time, I should look my age. Well now that I’m a little older and more mature, I get annoyed when strangers treat me like a child just because of my baby face appearance. Hence, I think just by doing some minor touch-ups will give me a more feminine and sophisticated look while still maintaining my swag.
- Finish editing the first draft of that 2014 Nanowrimo project I did.
Now, I finished writing the rough draft of it last year. However, I never really got into editing it. I shall do it this year.
Also, I have another little surprise. I created an Ask.fm account. Now you can nag me with your questions and I’ll answer them. I know a couple of people that would use this to their full advantage, but it doesn’t mean I’ll tell the whole truth. :p Well, I’m a pretty honest person, though, so I’ll answer to the best of my knowledge. Or no one can ask me anything, that’s okay too. I actually did this out of pure boredom. Yeah, that’s my simple reasoning and excuse.
Happy Reading!
-Lyn

I don’t get it either, but I talked my friend and she said I don’t really need anything on my skin because it is fine. She said just lipstick and eyeliner would do.

“1000followers on WordPress and social media”
Ask Crimson leak some of your personal info to attract some attention, it would be easier.

When onee-same gives us lipstick, we wear the lipstick and grow into adults. Sounds like a solid thesis to me. XD LOL hopefully you achieve your goals, and holy freakin’ crap — 500!?! That’s amazing!

Hehe I also hate makeup and I also don’t wear it. Similarly, most people tell me I don’t need it but unfortunately, it is the ‘only way’ to differentiate between a Child and an Adult for young-looking faces in professional contexts so …….
I don’t really get this logic tbh.

Exactly that’s how I feel! I don’t need it, but like people already make assumptions about my age just by looking at me. I swear age discrimination in this context does exists!

YES, and yet its never ever brought up. It’s a serious problem -.-

I know. It is probably because when looking at me or you, they won’t take us seriously -_-

Yeah. Unfortunately, its only a concern for a very small group of people like us.
