Blogging Life: Talking Instead Of Writing

Okay, I am going to do a little self-promotion that you can ignore if you find it narcissistic and lame.

I never thought I would be one of those “vloggers” (I’m using the term loosely) because my craft comes from my writing and not from my voice. However, I decided to do this video because I was mostly curious about what it would be like to have my voice be heard by people who are not part of my everyday life. Also, I’m trying to get over my shyness. I respect people who can get in front of a camera that takes a lot of courage. So I think this is a step up towards my goal.

Anyways, here’s a video of me talking. I didn’t do the video editing and stuff. I’m just the person talking.

Would I ever do this again? I don’t know.

  2. Lyn, the video turned out fantastically!!! I’m really excited to hear more from you in this different form of entertainment. But to answer that poll at the end, that Lucy chick always makes my heart leap outta my chest . . . Get it . . . Seriously tho, she terrifying!

  3. Hey Lyn, it’s been a minute.

I hope you’ve been well. I haven’t been around WordPress lately. A lot has been happening. But I found myself thinking of our past social exchanges and thought I’d swing by and say hello. Your blog is as prolific as ever, I see. I’m glad to know I’ll always find something fun here.

I don’t know if you saw but I posted up two short stories. They are my first published written tales and so I was pretty excited/nervous to release them. I know you’re a busy one, but since you’ve always been so supportive, as well as the fact you are a literature major, I was wondering if you would care to give them a look and throw me your critique.

Also, Lyn, your voice-over sounds great. You are mapping out new territory, and that takes courage. Keep doing your thing. You do it well.

    Cheers,
    Twice

    • Hey! It has been a while. Hope you are doing well.

Sure, I can check out your stories, and tell you what I think. I enjoy reading stories 😛

Also, @_@. Yeah… audio isn’t my thing, but thanks for the words of encouragement.
