The Free Spirit Award Special Post: “What are you waiting for?”

Lita Kino Anime Reviews nominated me for the Free Spirit Award. She allowed her nominees to pick a topic based on two songs. I have chosen to write about Nickelback’s “What are you waiting for?”

So I am going to give an “A.” (Cartel)

When I first read the question, I asked myself, “What do you mean, Lita Kino?” (Justin Bieber)

I had no idea how to approach this topic So I asked myself, “Where’d you go from here?” (Fort Minor Ft. Holly Brook and Jonah Matranga)

To answer this question, I had to be honest. (Cartel)

So I will start at the beginning. (One Ok Rock)

I want to show my blogging community, “My World.” (Avril Lavigne)

Sometimes I think, “who I am hates who I’ve been.” (Relient K)

At times, I think that as a pessimist, I am pretty optimistic. (Paramore)

There are times, I could even consider myself, a monster. (Paramore)

So I had to change my mind. (The All-American Rejects)

As a result, I became more human. (Christina Perri)

I put a smile on my face. (Vitamin C).

As a blogger, I want to inspire people that we were meant to live for so much more. (Switchfoot)

Other times, I am just doing this for the fame. (Lady Gaga)

To live at the top of the world. (The All-American Rejects)

You know, “to crash someone’s party.” (Karmin)

I’m joking (somewhat). I blog because it makes me feel alive. (Krewella)

I just want to be “anything but ordinary.” (Avril Lavigne)

I also now blog because I really really like you, my blogging friends. (Carly Rae Jepsen)

Speaking of “I really really like you,” some of us are looking for L.O.V.E. (Ashlee Simpson)

You know a boyfriend. (Boyfriend)

Or a girlfriend. (Avril Lavigne)

For me, I’d like to be someone’s L.O.V.E. Girl. (CN BLUE)

And I want some special guy to say to me, “All Day I Think Of You.” (2PM)

I don’t want to be broken-hearted. (Karmin)

Yet until then, I’ll be doing this acapella. (Karmin)

I also want to travel half way around the world. (A*Teens)

Yet in the end, (Linkin Park)
