Day 12: Song(s) That Remind You Of Your Best Friends (Family)

Like I said before, I don’t have a best friend. I have family: soul sisters and brothers from other mothers. So I would like to dedicate this song list to my friends. Thanks for being like real and 3D. Also, thank you for all your support and sticking around for the good, the bad, and the ugly. (And thanks for the birthday wishes today too!)

These are just “some” of the songs that remind me of my non-blood related family members, and I think when these songs pop up, they think of me.

“Fancy” By Iggy Azalea Ft. Charli XCX

While in university, I sang this song with my roommate. She was Charli XCX and I was Iggy Azalea. This song is my jam.

“Superbass” By Nicki Minaj

This song was constantly played on the radio, and every time it came on, I would sing along to it. I eventually memorized all the lyrics. “Superbass” became my “go-to” song whenever my friends and I do karaoke. My friends really enjoy listening to me sing it (or at least I think so).

“Hands Up” By 2PM

I had to put a 2PM song in this mix because my friends know I am a die-hard 2PM fan. Also, some of my soul sisters love 2PM as much as I do.

“Green Flow” By Boba Boyz Ft. Hentai Dude & Prod. Shiro

Some people thought this was just a phase, and I would get over these anime rap parodies. It has been a year, and I still haven’t gone out of this “phase.”

“Wonderwall” By Oasis

In July, my friends and I went to karaoke. The last song we sang was this one. We nailed it.
