30-Day Challenge Day 9: Song(s) That Make You Want To Dance

The first couple topics for these song challenge posts were a bit too serious. So it is nice to see a topic that is fun for a change. Now I don’t want to pick the obvious song right now that involves dancing, but I’ll mention it, Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance.” Although this song makes you want to dance, it isn’t one that I am really interested in. But here are a couple of songs, that I can’t help but dance to.

“Watch Me! (Whip/ Nae Nae)” By Silentó

My sister and I do the “whip” and the “nae nae” in the car. No shame.

“Fantastic Baby” By BIG BANG

I had to do a film project for Korean class, and I danced to this song. I made everyone laugh, which was my intention. Again, no shame.

“Hare Hare Yukai” By Aya Hirano, Minori Chihara & Yuuko Gotou

My friend recommended me to watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya back when it first came out in 2006. I watched it, and I thought it was a pretty awesome show. If you haven’t seen it, you should. I always wanted to learn the “Hare Hare Yukai,” but I am too stiff and yeah…

“Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” By Backstreet Boys

This is one of the best music videos that ever existed. Also, the dance sequence at the end is so amazing! In fact, the dance is so awesome that they did it in the end of the movie, This is the End. I am a Backstreet Boys fan ever since I was little. You can blame my sister. Last year, I saw them in concert twice. And if you think that old men can’t dance, you are wrong. Backstreet Boys still got the moves. In fact, Nick Carter is going to be on Dancing With The Stars. I am rooting for him to win.

“Turn Down For What” By DJ Snake & Lil Jon

The music video is a little strange, but I really enjoy the music. My friends and I went crazy when they played this at the rave in Fanime this year.

Those are just some of the songs I would dance to. I actually have a lot more. I don’t dance professionally nor would I consider myself a decent dancer. In fact, my sister is embarrassed by the way I dance, but I don’t really care. Umm… so I am just going to shut up, and you dance with me. 😛
