30-Day Song Challenge Day 1: Song(s) That Make You Happy

How do you define happy songs? When it comes to the words, “happy song,” people would probably think of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.” I don’t. I actually don’t really like that song. When I think of “happy,” I think of songs that are cheery and upbeat. Songs that make me hyperactive to the point that I am willing to dance or sing as loud as I can in the car. Here are some songs that do that.

“PonPonPon” By きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu)

I saw her in concert during her 2014 Nanda Collection World Tour. She is cute and adorable. If you ever get a chance, you should see her live. Also a little side note, I sing this song when I go karaoke.

“オオカミハート(Wolf Heart)” By Oresama

This song is the ending theme to Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji (Wolf Girl and Black Prince). It has a good beat. When the song makes that “Beep!” noise, it makes me want to jump up or do some weird, cutesy move. I don’t know why, but it just does. I hope I am not the only one that feels that way, but I think I am.

“REASON” By KAmiYU

This song is the ending theme of the anime, Karneval. It’s a colorful, happy song.

“Take Me There” By Mya, Blackstreet, Mase and Blinky Blink

A song that reminds me of my childhood is a good song to have on this list because it makes me think of the happy days of no responsibilities. This song is featured in The Rugrats Movie. Rugrats is my favorite childhood show. I watched it every day. ❤

“Good Life” By OneRepublic

The “Good Life” is what we all strive for. When I listen to this song, I think about all the happy memories I had in my life so far. In the end of it all, I want to think, “My life is a good life.”

That’s it for day one. I hope you all have a happy day and do a happy dance (whatever that is).
