MirrorPurple (紫鏡猫 x 十香) Nominated Me For The Real Neat Blog Award

So like, there is this one blogger, MirrorPurple. Yeah, he sent me this comment explicitly stating that he wasn’t like nominating me for an award, instead he just wanted to let me know that he has an awesome article up and wanted me to read it. I read it and I was greatly entertained. Thanks, MirrorPurple for saving me from boredom. Haha!

That was a joke, but if my humor failed to amuse you, I’m sorry. That just means I am not that funny.

Anyways, MirrorPurple nominated me for the “Real Neat Blog” Award. I started following MirrorPurple not too long ago. When I first clicked on his site, I was amazed that it was so purple. Purple is a cool color. I am assuming it is your favorite color because your page and Twitter account has purple all over the place, and also your usernames involve the word, “purple.” (It is not like I’m stalking you. I just made this careful observation.) If purple isn’t your favorite color, please let me know.

I enjoy reading MirrorPurple’s music posts the most because he has good taste in music. He also convinced me to watch Tamako’s Market, which I need to get on that as soon as possible. SORRY FOR THE DELAY!

Anyways, thank you, MirrorPurple for the nomination! I greatly appreciate it, and I look forward to more posts from you. On a side note, I took a piece of art from your blog because I think it is appropriate for this post. It is your signature, and this post is technically dedicated to you. So I gotta make it special, and it isn’t the same without your girl/waifu.

MirrorPurple’s Questions:

1. Life without anime? 

Life without anime would suck. I’m kidding. I would probably still be a bookworm, and have a strong interest in cartoons. Would I have started this blog, I wouldn’t know. Well actually I do. I would have made a blog, but I probably would only talk about books.

2. Best animation quality in an anime?

I don’t have much to say about animation quality because I usually focus on the characters and storyline. Yet when it comes to animation though, I like an anime that is colorful and bright.  I guess you could say I am a lover of colors. Some of these colorful anime include Amagi Brilliant Park, Aquarion EVOL, and Uta no Prince-sama.

3. Favourite Voice Actor/Actress?

I don’t have a favorite voice actor or actress.

4. Bluray or TV?

I don’t own a Blueray player, but I do have DVDs of my favorite anime and movies. The only time I watch TV is for NBA. Most of my entertainment comes from Crunchyroll, Hulu, Viki, and Dramafever.

5. OVA or another proper season?

Another proper season. If I really enjoyed a particular anime, I would want another season. OVAs are not enough to satisfy me. I think romance anime that are based on manga sometimes needs another season because they tend to only focus on the first half the manga, and also some of these manga are still currently ongoing. For example, one of the manga I wish to have a second season for is Ouran HIgh School Host Club. Also, there are certain manga that deserve more than an OVA or manga and should be a series such as Horimiya, Hiyokoi, and Nijiiro Days.

6. Do you want to experience a romance from an anime?

Yeah, why not. If I was in a school setting, I would want to follow the story line of Horimiya or Hiyokoi (those are manga that I like). As for anime, I’d pick Kimi ni Todoke.

7. 10-13eps, 24-26 eps or 50-52 eps animes?

I like 10-13 eps and 24-26 eps anime. I rarely watch anime that is more than 24-26 episodes. There are only certain anime that I am willing to watch 50 episodes or more. Those anime shows are Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, and Sailor Moon.
