The blog, We The Hunted, returned the favor and nominated me for The Sunshine Award. I am truly honored and grateful for this nomination because We The Hunted is one of my favorite blogs to read, and is one of the first blogs I followed. So thank you so much, We The Hunted!

I would consider We The Hunted a hidden treasure because not many people know about it, but they should though. That being said, after you read this post, you should definitely check out We The Hunted blog. He has various posts on anime, but also discusses other topics like health, nutrition, and his personal experiences.

The Guidelines:

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Answer the questions from the person who nominated you.
  • Nominate a few other bloggers.
  • Write the same amount of questions for the bloggers you nominated.
  • Notify the bloggers on their blog.
  • Put the award button on your blog.

We The Hunted’s Questions

1. Why did you want to create a blog in the first place?

I created a blog because I wanted to improve my writing. By writing reviews, I’ll become a better writer, and I’ll improve my analytical skills in regards to literature and other forms of art. Also, I wrote some small articles on anime before for an internship, and I enjoyed it. So I wanted to keep doing that.

2. Who is your current favorite anime hero/heroine?

Sailor Moon. Always and forever.

3. Do you prefer manga or anime? If you really enjoy both, which did you get into first?

I prefer both. My Japanese culture obsession started with watching Sailor Moon at the age of four.

4. If you had to be dropped into one world setting from an anime, which would it be?

It would have to be the world of Fullmetal Alchemist. To them, science is alchemy, and I think that would be awesome to learn. I also would like to be a priestess, so I would also consider living in the worlds of Inuyasha and Tokyo Ravens.

5. What was the first anime you remember watching?

The first anime I ever watched was Sailor Moon, and it was dubbed. Now, I wasn’t one of those people whose first time watching Sailor Moon was on Cartoon Network’s Toonami. In fact, I heard about Sailor Moon much earlier than that.  I was like four when I watched Sailor Moon on a different channel. It was because of Sailor Moon that Japanese culture became an interest for me and became part of my life.

6. Is there anything about you that you would like to mention to your readers that you haven’t already spoken on yet?

I went to Las Vegas last weekend. I gambled for the first time in my life. (I am considering writing a personal blog post about that experience, but not sure yet.)

I am so sad the Warriors lost Game 3.

I never pictured myself as a novelist or a writer, but since I started blogging, I am considering on taking up a professional writing career. I think my writing has gotten better. My friends keep suggesting that I should write a book.

I am not a big fan of spicy food, but I am starting to get used to it.

I don’t consider myself an otaku. I am a casual anime/manga fan.

7.  What is it you are most passionate about?

I am passionate about languages and culture to the extent that I decided to study Japanese and Literature during college. Also, my future significant other must have some sort of interest in culture (such as enjoy eating different types of foreign food, knows or is learning a language, and etc.)

I also am passionate about traveling. I want to travel the world as I grow older.

I am passionate about reading. I like to read books. I think about a novel’s overall meaning or I find some sort of subtle moment in a story and analyze it.

I am passionate about learning and education. I am a lifelong learner. 🙂

I had a lot of fun answering We The Hunted’s questions, and if you want to check out his answers to the questions I gave, click here.

  1. Awesome answers Lyn!
I think being in the world of FMA would be epic too. Though, the world of Inuyasha would also be pretty sick.
I don’t like spicy food either. Like, I have no spice tolerance whatsoever.
I encourage your efforts into writing, for I really think you have a brilliant grasp on writing and can smoothly tap into the deeper message behind stories and words. I would line up immediately to snag your first book!
As always, thank you for your great material Lyn,
    Cheers

    1. You’re welcome! And thank you for the support.

If I was in the world of FMA, I think I would have joined the military as a researcher, but I wouldn’t research on human transmutation. Also I found priestess and monks in anime appealing. There is something other worldly about them.
